Research Experiences for Teachers (RET)
Columbia's RET offers training in emerging technology and includes a summer program and support throughout the academic year.
This MRSEC program ran in partnership with the the Summer Research Program for Science Teachers in 2014 and 2015. Each teacher worked on a project with a MRSEC-supported PhD student with access to the Columbia MakerSpace and other university resources.
Get Involved
MRSEC now invites New York City middle and high school STEM teachers to participate in the current programs: STEM Teacher Workshop, the STEMteachersNYC workshops, as well as the COSMOS Research Experience for Teachers program.
