Integrated Project Week with The School at Columbia

Integrated Project Week

The Integrated Project Week (IPW) is a four-day program for K-8 school students from The School at Columbia and a chance to learn about art and science, build friendships, find new ways to work collaboratively, and make a difference in the community.

During IPW, students leave the classroom and come together as nearly 40 new groups, all of which encompass different classes and grades. These groups pursue student-conceived and student-driven projects that take them out of the building, onto Columbia University’s campus, into New York City, and beyond.

The IPW students will be involved in research and laboratory visits. Topics include:

  • Solar Cells
  • Molecular Circuits
  • Separating Proteins

The program runs every spring.
